i get annoyed about people saying save your money cheap isnt good and stuff like that. so dont please. i know i need good stuff and thats what im asking about.

Keep in mind when buying snowboard clothing, you need something that will withstand the weather. Cheaper stuff usually tends to leave you wet and cold at the end of the day.

Burton is a good brand, but not near the best. It’s something a lot of amateur riders buy because of the name and they end up spending way more money than the clothes are worth. The only good thing I see about burton is that their jackets come with all of the extra stuff instead of the essentials.

If you want a good brand, try to find a Rome jacket. They’re designed by people who used to work at Burton.

Lastly, if you spend the money you’re talking about on a jacket, it will more than likely be non-insulated and you will freeze your butt off. Make sure when looking at a jacket:

Polyurithane(sp?) covered (waterproof)
Insulated
Zippered pockets (don’t want ur stuff falling out)
Waist gaiters
Wrist gaiters

Those are the only things you really need.
