		<description>first off, if you never snowboarded before let me tell you you scored some pretty dope gear. that out of the way.

The best way to get into shape for snowboarding is skateboarding. It will get you to understand the balance principles needed for snowboarding. B-boying is good all around fitness and gives you that style you need for tearing up the slopes. But I just want to throw in a not so fun activity just to tell you what the best one is so you can take-it-or-leave-it:plyometrics!
It is the ultimate way to get ready for the slopes but people like you might find it boring...
