GoPro Helmet Hero Wide Mounted on Snowboard
My new GoPRo Helmet Hero Wide. I mounted it to the nose of my board facing me while I ride. Good angle except I was lazy an mounted it on top of a sticker on my board so when I dropped off a small lip it came off when it landed. Definatly a durable unit and a great camera for the price it was. Highly Recommended!!

There’s several …
There’s several mounts it comes with depending on the package you buy. I got the helmet package so I got the headstrap mount and then 4 mounts you can stick onto a helmet, dash or whatever and then clip the camera onto. They don’t stick very well onto a board so I grabbed a suction cup mount for my board which has stuck on pretty good while riding. The parts are very reasonably priced so you can always grab what you need. I’m going to upload a vid showing all the different mount options.

how many mounts do you get in the original package? I cant really imagine how it works, can you mount one on your snowboard, glue it with some epoxy or something and then just clip the camera on?

LOL, I had similar results, but I got it to stick really good and the results have been stellar. Having lost it once, I now leash it, though, so it doesn’t go flying into the woods and down a tree well.

Cool vid! Submitted a response with a similar vid I recently shot with my GoPro. I also have a vid with my camera dismounting after a sharp thwack and spiraling down the hill… tough little gadgets!
