all around mountian board means you dont need different boards for jumps or rails or carving… it does it all with just one board… you should also rent boards before you find a board you like

well im about 6′1 …
well im about 6′1 so i have a 156 but i like smaller boards cause you spin better but i also weight 240 so i would recommend about a 154 156 and a wide board cause you have bigger feet so you dont want your boots to be hanging off both sides and bigger board are harder to control for a beginner also

it depends if you like powder or park or all mountain so if your a starter i would go 156-Wide thats if you dont know what you like if you like park 153-W and powder 161-Wide

Mid wide board the board should reach your chin just under it you could ride a 156 to that would be better if your into Park and jib.
