I’m starting up snowboarding, but I have no experience buying anything, so I don’t really know where to go, and I don’t want to get ripped off. My parents don’t want to pay for much….

oh, and I’m about 120 pounds, and about 64 inches tall (5’4″-ish)
actually i just basically need goggles, boots, bindings, and a board.
i have most of the other stuff.
I’d like a board that looks really cool, but it’s not a priority compared to whether or not it works for me.
i have no clue what kind of style I would be doing, but I do know that it’ll be in minnesota if that helps… there’s a zumies here- but much of their stuff is expensive.
i’m looking for a package that’s 300 or less. 250 would be stretching it somewhat thin, since i have to buy this gear myself.
please help me.
