SO…when and where is it o.k. To buy inexpensive snowboarding gear?
I’m able to tell you that buying an inexpensive snowboard is o.k. An inexpensive snowboard should cost somewhere between $250-$350 ( Going cheap on a snowboard doesn’t truly make such a massive difference unless you are dropping gigantic lines. Inexpensive snowboards are a lot softer which makes it easier to be told how to make turns if your a newb, and if your an intermediate rider making an attempt to improve by doing tricks having a softer board will help.
Inexpensive bindings will break easily, especially if the temperatures get cold.
buying cheap snowboard boots is kind of tough to call because some folk will tell you never get inexpensive boots, but i say if you are only planning on snowboarding a number of times a year then it is o.k. To buy cheap snowboard boots.

As for your goggles, jacket, and gloves it is simple to save money as it’s not necessary to have the costliest. Just be aware of the weather conditions you’ll be riding in because you do not want cold wet hands. If you are riding in the northeast consider a mitten-style glove, they’re much warmer.
Obviously this article is not for everyone. If you’re an experienced rider you already know what you like and how much it should cost you, but for the newb and intermediate rider knowing when and where to save cash by buying cheap snowboard gear could be the final factor between years of riding verse giving it up due to the high cost.

It’s unfortunate that many folks will never really get into it thanks to the cost. Hopefully, though, the information in this piece will help you save some money.
Online snowboarding stores are generally the best place to find high-quality snowboarding gear for inexpensive. They also carry the current seasons gear with better rebates then at local shops.

Lamar products aren’t very good. Go with the Salomon bindings. As for boots, try to find a snowboard shop near you and try on a bunch of different pairs. Every boot I’ve bought online , I ended up returning because they didn’t fit right. Go to a real snowboard shop and ask an employee to help you with the boots. Bring your snowboard socks if you have some. Comfy and good fitting boots is key to a great season.

So I went today my second time, I got rly happy that I could do the front and back slide (? is that wat its called) so I was thinking maybe I can buy some cheap board. What is a good brand and something that I can buy new, please.

I keep seeing brands like Lamar, Morrow, Firefly, etc. but I think they blow. I also saw few Liquid and LTD boards, those any decent?

And for boots and bindings, I saw these cheap boots by K2:

Any decent?

Was wondering if you buy a board do you need to buy same type of bindings and boots or u can just mess around with it?

dont get a lamar, morrow, firefly watever board, they suck my bro use to had a lamar board and after two times riding it, the board snap for some reason… if im you ill get like cheap burton board like the burton clash or a burton blunt, their good boards for beginners, they cost around $200..

for boots get thirty twos they have the best boots in snowboarding because they dont make boards and bindings they can focus more on their boots so its great, that k2 boots its preety good but thirty twos are better,

for bindings get like burton freestyle or ride lx they are good bindings for the price they cost like $70-$90.

you dont have to buy the same type of bindings or boots you can mess around with it.

snowboarding boots?

Where can I by cheap snowboarding boots???
Even if they are used I dont care…
& how do I know what size I am??
Are they the same size and my shoe size?
Like if I am a size 6 would I be a 6 in the boots
I am asking that like if I were to maybe get them online where I couldnt try them on 1st

Don’t buy a boot that you have not tried on – it is as simple as that. Try on lots of boots to find ones that fit well. They may feel tight, but they shoud not hurt or pinch.

and be able to customize them cheap

I like thehouse.com they have great deals

I would like to buy a cheap, or average snowboarding boots. How much would they cost?

Thanks

i got mine for $130.

so like the 1st person said, over $100. but get quality ones because it’s worth it to buy $150 boots that will last longer than $50 boots that last a season.
