Local discount hunting and sporting store. Go with waterproof. They also have waterproof bib overalls that are a million times better than boarding in cold wet jeans.

Another choice is to wait till the end of your season than go down to your local board shops around then they’ll have their 50% off sale on all the equipment they couldn’t sell that year, easily the best time to grab some quality gear for cheap.

i am travelling to SE Asia at the end of the year and was wondering if it is possible to pickup cheap snowboarding gear such as goggles, jackets, gloves? I know a whole bunch of it gets made there….but whether it is cheap or not….i dont know

The factories are probably there, but you won’t find anything of that sort on sale (unless you have connections to someone who knows someone who knows someone who collects stuff that falls off the backs of trucks). SE Asia is tropical, they don’t have much use for snowgear…

i need new boots and they are very expensive so i would like to buy online

Boots are not the best thing to go cheap on, but I understand that we can’t always spend the full $$$. Below are some sites that have cheap boots. Just be very sure you know what size you need (although most will do exchanges, provided you haven’t worn them). I know that DC boots say to go a half size up from what you would wear in shoes, I know this to be true having had some DC boots myself and my niece also has a pair.
